Great app with great features. Works fine with few memory usege. It could have a better UI and I also think it is a little big large in screens with 11 or 13.

I liked everything I so far, have been using this App for only 5 Minutes though. Thoroughly irritated by the way the menu bar icon works. Id prefer it to work the way it does in Tweetbot - dark grey when there are no new images, blue when theres news. Not blue if clicked! (I know when its clicked and the app is open, obviously its me who clicked!) Five stars when this is changed to Tweetbot or some other sensible style. Cheers!

It does work. You can do everything but post. Overall its an ok app not worth 4.99

I like having quick and easy access to Instagram in my Mac. Writing a comment--or answering one--is easier than on an iPhone.

The app is nice… when it works. Keeps crashing constantly. Will rate again when it leaves beta phase.

Dont waste your money anytime you go back to your feed it crashes. Worst 3 dollars spent.

To be able to see a users photo caption, you have to click through to the image.. keep in mind, the image stays the same size in the "newsfeed" as it does in the image detail page so this extra click is a waste.. at the very LEAST, the caption provided by the instagram user should be inline with the "newsfeed" so youd only click-through to see the comments by other users if you were insterested. Its inconvenient looking at a picture and not knowing what youre looking at. Otherwise, looks nice.. another commenting complaint is that they go in reverse order when you click-through to the detail. So you read the newest comments first instead of seeing the comment progression as you scroll down. Doesnt really seem worth $2.99, let alone whatever the not-sale price is, but I still gave it 4 stars for usability. Would be 5 stars with comments/captions in-line like the mobile app.

Hands down the best desktop Instagram app. Great design, fast, and displays the photos very large and in great quality. Definitely worth it.

This app crashes frequently. Nice concept, but save your money.

I was glad to see there is now support for video, but it crashes once I try to play a video. And it still crashes when you click into a photo and try to go back. Also, I should not have to hover over each photo with my mouse and wait seconds for the photos description to pop up in a box, that should be optional. Its more effecient to read the photos description/comment as I scroll. I still have hopes for this app, just waiting on successful bug fixes.

Ive been a FIPLAB fan for awhile, but the newest update completely screwed up my instagram account! The app crashes and my feed is all messed up! Never had any app ever do this to me! Absoulute garbage!!

ive tried all the instagram apps on the store and theyre ALL a waste of money. every single one of them. cant upload pics on any of em, and none of them really provide anything more than what instagram ALREADY offers on their site. This one in particular bugs me because strange things are going on while it runs. i have apps that track memory, and whenever this app runs it uses almost all of my 8gb of memory! all this for an social media app? its crashed once on me, but that happens, but i just feel like something bad is going on with it hogging my resources like that. i would love SOMEONE out there to make an app thats actually worth it!!!

Whenever I try to leave a comment with a hashtag, it attempts to load it, but then a window comes up, saying "Could Not Add Comment"

This is for sure the best instagram app on the computer! Works almost as good as the iphone app. Altough you cant post a picture and it dosent keep your notifications so you can see them later its very good and i recomend it!

Just downloaded it, and already like it! You can do EVERYTHING the real instagram does, except post photos/videos. Better than other mac instagram apps Ive tried!

great app for one instagram addict like me.I just downloaded the app. but how come notifications arent working so far? Got tons of notifications on my phone every second not one popup on my mac?

it is a very simple app and looks very nice. But it oftentimes loads slowly and so scrolling can take a long time…on an otherwise speedy Mac. Not only loading on the main interface with multiple photos but also loading and posting comments is very slow. Not sure if it is a problem with Instagram api or with the app itself. That is why I did not go lower than 3 stars. If I could make a few feature requests: 1) double clicking photo would "like" it; 2) keystroke controls; 3) trackpad gesture controls…that would make it amazing and definitely 5 stars

Doesnt work at all on Macbook Pro OS 10.8.4
