It’s the best we have, but it could be much better.

I’ll keep it short and sweet:

Good:
I like being able to see my Instagram posts and be able to like and comment on posts (commenting also in bad section)
It unobstrusive and doesn’t take up a lot of resources
OS X Notifications are a nice touch

Bad:
Commenting on a post always produces an error message, even though the comment does post just fine
You can’t post a picture, I know it’s a limitation of Instagram, but still something to mention
The Notifications within the app itself are not always 100%. I get notifications on my phone too and this app is usually missing 10% of the notifications that the iOS Instagram app shows me. Not sure why they are missing, but it is quite annoying.
